Highlights of Living in Upscale Scottsdale

Living in the scottsdale real estate area of Arizona is having a residence in one of the United State’s most expensive locations. North Scottsdale homes for sale, for example, fetch a high price because it’s currently one of the most actively developed part of the Scottsdale area, especially the Scottsdale Airpark. This complex is home to the offices of many large and important companies in the US and is a testament to the upward trend of Scottsdale’s local economy.

Tourism is also a very important component in Scottsdale’s local economy. Many tourists find the Thursday night “Art Walk” in Downtown Scottsdale to be quite beautiful. Aside from the famous art galleries, there’s also the annual Scottsdale International Film Festival, which is very popular for hosting one of the most diverse and well-picked out collection of films that are representative of different international cultures.

Scottsdale also has a lot of local traditions that draw tourists yearly. One of the most popular local traditions is the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show which has been considered as a tradition in Scottsdale since 1955. Thousands of people flock to Scottsdale to watch the parade of almost 2000 beautiful horses (purebred Arabians and mixed breeds) and the festivities.

Since Scottsdale has always prided itself for the distinctly Western culture and the colorful history associated with it, they also have the popular Jaycees Parada del Sol. It’s a popular modern day cowboy rodeo event. It runs for about a month long and is kicked off with the world’s biggest and largest parade of horse drawn carriages. This is an important part of the area’s local culture which is also something that is appreciated by tourists worldwide.

If shopping is your favorite kind of activity, Scottsdale has no shortage of that. In fact, Scottsdale Fashion Square is considered to be one of the most lucrative malls in this part of the United States. This enormous shopping mall has a lot of upscale and posh boutiques that cater to the upperclass crowd.

For culinary fans, there’s also an annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival held each year every April. It features culinary creations from chefs of local and international renown. It’s one of the most attended and longest-running culinary festivals in the United States.

Living in Scottsdale puts you in the middle of all this growth and cultural vibrancy. North Scottsdale real estate especially has the potential to be more of a hub of city development especially in the future. In real estate, it’s important to think of potential and as far as potential goes, this area of the US has a lot of that.
