Increase Your Income While You Still Can

Let’s not focus right now on how to increase your income but instead we can discuss the reasons you should. There is always something that is coming up like a home repair, car problems, health needs and increasing college tuitions. Your bills will not stop going up so you have to increase your income to match. You never know what unexpected bill you could get hit with in the future. By the time you need that extra income it could be too late.

A few years ago nobody thought that a recession would hit so hard, gas would be so high, but cheaper now, and states would be running out of money. It all seemed to sneak up on us all at once. Were you prepared? Did you create multiple streams of income in case something went wrong? Not a lot of people did. Now your kids are finding it hard to finish college, people are losing their homes and savings accounts are being wiped out. If you don’t start increasing your income now you could end up on the streets.

Never assume that it can’t happen to you. If all you do is put your eggs in one income basket and that basket breaks, what will you do? You have to have a backup plan to make it these days. If you got the time take a few classes in a recession proof field so if you are next to get laid off you can quickly have a new job at hand. Or spend a few hours per day creating a website to increase income. There are so many ways to increase your income that there is no need to go in to a big long list. No matter what ideas you hear if you do not believe that you need to increase your income then their will be no follow through on your part.

Look at a person like Ed Mcmahon. With all the years he had on tv to increase his income he still ended up on the verge of losing his home. He actually started rapping just to save his home. Can you resort to such endeavors if you lost your job? I think not. So don’t wait until you really have to when it comes to securing your future. Your family is worth more than that.

If you start right now you might be able to make it through the coming storm. It is only going to get worse before it gets better. You might have a good job now but will it last? If you think yes, you will not do anything to increase income. You always want to find away to bring a little more money into the home. Never settle on the fact that you don’t have time to do so. Time could be running out on your job when you least expect it. Tomorrow is never guaranteed.

I suggest you start planning on ways to earn a little money now. Every dollar you gain can keep you one step away from the food lines. Don’t become another statistic.
