Legitimate Home Based Business

What’s the top legitimate home based business on the market? The reality is, there are many great ways of making money online, (and offline) and something that gets emphasized far too little is the role of the person doing the home business.

Many people (perhaps the majority) are looking for a system that does all the work for them without them lifting a finger. While this is understandable, with all the websites that make this claim, there is no system that will do the work for you. In any business you want to do, you will have to work for it, and there’s just no way around it.

While the top business owners might want you to think that their product or service will make you a fortune without you doing anything to earn it, just to get you to buy it, this just isn’t reality, and one hundred percept of your success is dependent on you.

Think about it-if all you had to do was plug into some advertising system that advertised the product for you, took the orders and shipped them out, what would the system need you for? The answer is, it wouldn’t.

I’m not saying you can’t make money by using a system, just that you will have to tweak it to make it work for you. If everybody advertised in the same spots, using the same ads, and selling the same products, it would quickly lose its’ effectiveness. This is why there is no plug in system you can just start doing and making money.

With that said, the best legitimate home based business opportunity I would recommend if you have money to spend and you enjoy over the phone selling is network marketing. There are many network marketing opportunities online that market high ticket items to consumers.

True, 90% of people will fail in network marketing (that statistics is true of any company you join) but this is not because of some element the system is lacking, as the company would have you think. The reason is, most people in my experience simply aren’t willing to do the work necessary to make money.

If you are looking to get started with network marketing, I would recommend you focus on a company that can sell their product apart from the business opportunity themselves. So many network marketing companies sell their product solely because of the business opportunity offered with it, and if they tried selling the product without the opportunity, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

It’s not uncommon in this industry to see information products you might pay thirty to fifty dollars for on eBay being sold for thousands of dollars, and while some are grossly overpriced, there are a few companies that come to mind that don’t have this.

One is Global Resorts Network, which actually sold their product without the opportunity for years before, so this would be a good company for you to look into. Keep in mind, I’m not affiliated with them in any way, so don’t worry that I’m trying to persuade you to come into my down line.

However, if you don’t have thousands of dollars to invest into your new business, a great cheap method to make money is to start with affiliate marketing or Google AdSense.

Both of these are legitimate home based business opportunities. While requiring a bit of time and effort like any business, they are great way to make money without spending a dime. Best of all, they are relatively quick, although perhaps not as quick as network marketing.
