The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is an independent nation in the West Indies. The most commonly used language here is English. Most courses have different prices for in-season and off-season, as well as for guest and non-guests. Many courses are a part of resorts or hotels. Some of the more famous require carts and a mandatory caddy, however most offer club rentals.

Golf package vacations also include three nights in luxury one-bedroom suites, complimentary welcome drinks, coupon for complimentary poolside tropical drinks and daily continental breakfast. Round trip transportation between hotel and golf course, room tax and service charge is also often included.
