Visiting Playa Del Carmen at the Right Time

Playa del Carmen is a major town in the region of the Riviera Maya and runs along the beach. This is a favorite vacation spot for vacationers because of the beaches and the prominent and beautiful hotels and activities they have to offer. There are plenty of Playa del Carmen events that you can participate in and take advantage during your vacation here.

Playa del Carmen organizes many activities that tourists can enjoy, even the hotels and resorts that you will be staying at will most likely have something that you can do and participate in and will have fun doing. The pulse of the city is Fifth Avenue, which is the main street that caters to pedestrians since cars are not allowed here. While you are strolling along Fifth Avenue, you are likely to see artists, musical, groups, and other unusual sights. You can even participate in any Playa del Carmen events that they might be offering. Majority of the Riviera Maya’s restaurants are located here. You can dine on authentic Mexican cuisine, American meals, or international menus like an Italian meal. After getting a fun filled day at the town, you can cap the night through intense dancing and partying in the bars and nightclubs.

The Area has so much to offer the tourists. If you are into water activities or just simply love the ocean, this will be like paradise for you. On the other hand, if you’re looking to have a little nature tripping, you can visit the various ecological and archaeological sites that they have to offer. Playa del Carmen has a host of events that tourists can watch out for. Here are some of it:

Events for the Next Year

1.Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya. Golf is also something that you will find in Playa del Carmen. If you are a golf enthusiast, then the annual El Camaleon Golf Club’s presentation or tournament should be something that you do not want to miss. It is one of the annual Playa del Carmen events that helps gather up tourists in the city. It is a Golf tournament that is part of the U.S. PGA Tour since 2007.

2.Riviera Maya Underground Film Festival. If you are on vacation and you happen to be a movie buff, then this is the Playa del Carmen event that you shouldn’t miss. They feature Hollywood cinemas, animation, fiction, and documentary film categories, both from national and international shorts. The Riviera Maya Underground Film Festival is an event that’s held annually every October, so if you want to catch this film event then better head there.

3.Riviera Maya Jazz Festival. If music is more of your thing then you have the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival to keep you busy. This is held at the Mamitas Beach Club and attracts enthusiastic crowds to the Mamitas Beach to enjoy free performances by national and international acts. So head on to Playa del Carmen by November and experience beach side jazz at its finest.
